Newham Collegiate Sixth Form Centre (The NCS) Student Amna Kheri Wins LSBC Award

NCS student Amna Kheri has won the annual London Schools and Black Child (LSBC) Achievement award for outstanding GCSE results.

The event took place at the House of Commons with a star studded line up which included, amongst others, Tidjane Thiam the first black CEO of a FTSE 100 company, the Speaker of the House of Commons the Rt. Hon John Bercow MP, broadcaster and DJ Trevor Nelson MBE and award winning saxophonist and composer Yolande Brown.

Everyone at the NCS are incredibly proud of Amna’s achievements who now has aspirations to study medicine at a leading university.
